Now, a reality check. Outdoor weddings do have some drawbacks. The weather can dampen your experience, especially in Michigan, where it can be hot, rainy, windy, humid, cold, snowy … sometimes all in the same week. Muddy, rocky, sandy, uneven surfaces make it difficult for guests with mobility challenges. And then there’s the delicate matter of availability and access to certain “facilities.”

This level of uncertainty and potential discomfort for you and your guests is not ideal for a dream wedding or any event, for that matter.
